This Sunday I walked around my neighborhood and took photos of some interesting folks. A few pictures below, more here.

PHOTOS: SitDownStandUp.com's 2007 In Pictures

I brought my camera to a few really great Hip Hop concerts in 2007 including Clipse @ Columbia University, Rock The Bells featuring Cypress Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, Redman, The Roots and more, Boost Mobile Rock Corps @ Radio City Music Hall featuring Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Hurricane Chris, Yung Joc, Keyshia Cole and more, EPMD, Nas, Jeru Da Damaja @ Roseland Ballroom and more. Click on the shows above specifically for relevant photos. Below there's a slideshow of photos from all of those. More non-Hip Hop photos can be found here. Move your mouse over the top of the picture below to go to the next photo, and move it over the bottom for thumbnails.

PHOTOS: Stand Up! ft. Sean Price, Channel Live, Etc.

Last night's Stand Up! show at Pianos was curated by OhWord.com and yours truly and hosted by the iCs. It was a great night. Cause, Hired Gun, Donny Goines and NYOIL all came through with tigh, explosive sets proving Hip Hop is more than alive. Hakim of Channel Live energized the crowd with a surprise set with guest Scanz. Sean Price ended the night with a hype performance. I forgot to bring my camera (d'oh!), but Ccelli from ExponentEntertainment sent some pics over that I quickly edited. Thanks to all that made the night possible.

NEWS: Photo Page Added

I've added a SDSU photography page collecting some of the original pictures I shot at different Hip Hop events. Check out the galleries here. It's also always accessible via the menu to your left in the sidebar.

PHOTOS: Q-Tip @ Gramercy Theatre (CMJ)

Q-Tip performed a show at the Gramercy Theatre as part of the CMJ Music Marathon. Eric sent over some great pictures exclusive to SDSU.

PHOTOS: EPMD & Jeru Da Damaja @ Roseland Ballroom

EPMD, Slick Rick and Jeru Da Damaja all played Roseland Ballroom the same night that Nas did. A few photos from Jeru's and EPMD's set below.

The last photo is of the host of the night. Full set here.

PHOTOS: Boost Mobile Rock Corps At Radio City Music Hall

Last night I attended the Boost Mobile Rock Corps benefit show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. I got a chance to hang out back stage to take some shots. People that performed include Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, Biz Markie, Marley Marl, Hurricane Chris, Spliff Star, Yung Joc, Keshia Cole, and a mesmerizingly beautiful Eve who was on the wrong side of the stage for me to take photos of. Dagger! It was a great show with a lot of highlights and a lot of love between performers backstage. A few photos below. Find the full set here. For more info on the Boost Mobile Rock Corps and their great volunteering activities go here.

The show itself was a great series of short sets with Busta Rhymes as the high light. Also included were rock bands Angels And Airwaves and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, both visibly nervous to play in front of a 90% Hip Hop crowd. Angels & Airwaves went over surprisingly well. Find the full set of photos here.
