Photos from last night's Jay-Z show at the Apollo. Guests included Beanie Sigel, LeBron James, Diddy, Nas, Freeway, Memphis Bleek and more. About LeBron's presence at the show: "They had a half court set up on stage. Jay-Z (and friends) ripped through all the hits. All the while LeBron just keep doing slam dunks in the background. Dude must have done 178 slam dunks the entire night. It was nonstop during the entire performance." (From a comment on BV.)

As Eskay already pointed out Rik Cordero is seemingly the only video director out there anymore! He's certainly hustling hard and even got Memphis Bleek to be a part of his lo-fi video empire. Much respect. Unfortunately that sort of means I was wrong to a certain extent.

Freeway never fails to deliver. Now that Beanie Sigel is releasing heat again, and Free, and Kanye West just dropped the best selling record of the year, and Jay-Z's American Gangster on the way, can we say the Roc is back on top, sort of, again? I wish Lil' Wayne would stop e-mailing his verses without much regard to the actual track or topic matter of the neighboring verses.
